28 Weeks - the countdown is ON.

Ice cream, watermelon and choclate. You can find me eating one of these at least once a day.

A few days ago this photo was taken:
To which Johnny commented this week: "The baby seems to be growing!" (AKA: "you're getting much bigger")
I, again - can't wait to do some more intense running! We got our jogging stroller in the mail today, after reading the instructions though, it suggests not to take a baby jogging until they're about 8 months old. Kind of a bummer to find that out, but my mom already volunteered to babysit while I run - ha!

This is the stroller we got!

Today, Johnny put up our new blinds - they're so pretty! He finished the toppers and stained them, after one coat of polyurethane tomorrow and they'll go up!

Musta been a loooong day for these guys:

Sights, sounds and smells - and week 26

Holy crap - week 26?

Yeah, that's happening. Only 14 weeks left as just the two of us before R comes. The first trimester seemed to crawl along and now it is going really REALLY fast. Ay, caramba!

The last few weeks I've eaten containers of watermelon like it's going out of style, and maybe too much chocolate. Before that, it was strawberries with everything. I'd just eat a whole container of them!

I was told I looked very pregnant this week, but I think the shirt I was wearing makes you look pregnant no matter what ;)

Sights this week: 1. We Bought a Zoo - about to start!
2. Realized our Bleeding Heart was coming back up! (shown below)

3. Finally seeing the painting on the wall I've been working on!

Sounds: 1. The buzz of Johnny working on our window trim in the garage yesterday 2. Trice's hiccups 3. Sound of mowing the lawn (and smell!)
Smells: 1. Raspberry coffee cake, egg bake, and cinnamon rolls for our Easter bru…

Frustrated, and babies and dogs

I try and work out 6 out of 7 days in a week.

I realize I'm pregnant and have to naturally slow down a bit, but after feeling sore this morning from running two miles outside yesterday, I can't help but feel lazy. I've been running on a treadmill (because it's close to a bathroom!) - I'm on such a schedule that I mentally freak out if I can't work out at night and tell myself "Ok, this is my ONE day off this week" - which was tonight. I literally can't get my eating under control and try and compensate that for working out, throw together a big dinner night and no time for working out and well, I get a little stir crazy. I suppose it doesn't help that I sit at a computer all day and can't WAIT to get sweaty at the end of the day.

I don't know if I'm one of those women that LOVE being pregnant - I don't really know how I feel about it, to be honest. Everything about it makes me anxious - the increased attention, what it's d…
